The Name

Pronouncing My Name

My name is a Hebrew name, so non-Israelis may have a hard time pronouncing my name correctly. All A's in the name should be pronounced like the "A" in "car" (which should be natural to French speakers, but certainly not to Americans). The H should be pronounced (unlike French), and the apostrophe was used make the E vowel seperate from the R (so the syllables of my last name are Har-El, not Ha-Rel).

If you still can't figure out how to pronounce my name, just listen to me pronounce it.

Writing My Name

In the title above you see the way I prefer to write my name in English. The way it is written in Hebrew is:

(which, in case you don't know Hebrew, is read from right to left).
